The Environmental Health Program licenses and inspects all permanent and temporary food facilities in Worcester County.  For forms or questions related to operating or opening a food service facility, please contact our Office.






Who can use this service?


Worcester County food service facilities as well as temporary food service facilities operating in Worcester County, must be licensed by our Environmental Health Office prior to serving the public.

(Accomac, Va.) –The Accomack County Health Department and the Foodborne Disease Team from the Virginia Department of Health continue to investigate a cluster of gastro-intestinal illnesses that may be related to the Chincoteague Chili Chowder Cook Off held this past Saturday, September 30, 2017.
