If you or someone you know may have a problem with gambling, we can help.
Licensed professionals are ready to guide you in finding the services that you need.
In my case, there was no adrenaline high from winning or losing. The high was being in the action. As in any addiction, after years of not gambling, once I relapsed, I set off a phenomenon of craving. I lost material possessions, family trust, and my self worth. I apply the same principles of Alcoholic's Anonymous to my gambling abstinence. I have changed my thinking through positive actions. I recognize that my life, (family, finances, work, and self esteem) would be lost if I gambled again. Helping others also has been a plus. As of this date, I am seven years continuously free from gambling. –Joe C.
