altAbout the Program:

Substance abuse treatment and referral services for adults and adolescents are available.  Worcester County Health Department serves primarily Worcester County residents experiencing some level of a substance abuse problem with alcohol and/or drugs. The program offers a number of different levels of treatment, at several sites. Patient placement is based on individual assessed needs of each patient. In general, the program offers behavioral health assessments, DWI education program, individual and group counseling for substance abuse, gambling and/or dual diagnosis concerns.

The Behavioral Health Program also offers case management referral services, family consultation, crisis intervention, urinalysis, adolescent services, and other specialized services. Anyone who feels he or she has a problem with alcohol and/or drugs is eligible for the program.  Inability to pay should not be a reason for not contacting one of our offices for help.  Fees for services are calculated on a sliding scale.  Most insurance plans are accepted.  Contact 410-632-1100 to schedule an assessment.
