Evidence-based programs that teach the public how to respond in a mental health emergency, and offer support to someone who appears to be in emotional distress.  The 8-hour course teaches the skills necessary to reach out and provide initial help & support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance abuse problem, or experiencing a crisis.
