Go Purple for National Recovery Month with Worcester Health

Snow Hill, MD - Join Worcester County and “Go Purple" as part of a National Recovery Month awareness project.

The project is inspired by “Project Purple”, an initiative of The Herren Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation established by former NBA basketball player, Chris Herren. Each September, the Worcester County Health Department participates and promotes activities and events to support this recovery effort and mental wellness. Residents are encouraged to show their support by showing up, speaking up, sharing these events, and/or wearing or displaying purple throughout the month of September.
