Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program December Outreach Events

Snow Hill, Md. (December 3, 2013) – The Lower Shore Health Insurance Assistance Program has an extensive outreach and education campaign planned that will reach hundreds of uninsured residents in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties in December.

DHMH to Commemorate World AIDS Day's 25th Anniversary Dec. 1st

Baltimore, MD (November 26, 2013) - The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) joins the World Health Organization (WHO), the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) World AIDS Campaign, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in supporting the 25th anniversary observance of World AIDS Day this Sunday, December 1st.  

Community Resource Day for the Homeless

Snow Hill, Md. (November 24, 2013) – The Worcester County Homeless Committee will host a Community Resource Day for homeless people or people at risk of homelessness from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on December 4 at Stevenson United Methodist Church, 123 Main Street in Berlin. 
 

The Maryland Tobacco Quitline Provides Free Medication for Residents to Support Tobacco Cessation during the Great American Smokeout®
