CHRC RELEASES FY 2014 CALL FOR PROPOSALS; PUBLIC INFORMATION CALL SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31 AT 10 AM

Annapolis (October 24, 2014) - The Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC) today issued its annual Call for Proposals to solicit grant proposals to increase access to health care, address health disparities, and help reduce hospital admissions and readmissions. The Commission will award a total of $2.85 million this year.

MARYLAND MEDICAID LAUNCHES NEW TELEMEDICINE PROGRAMS

BALTIMORE (October 22, 2013)— The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s (DHMH) Medical Assistance (Medicaid) Program will now reimburse approved health care providers for services delivered via telemedicine.

Worcester County Holds Operation Medicine Drop

 
Snow Hill, Md. (October 18, 2013) – Operation Medicine Drop, a one-day drug take back effort, has been slated for Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Worcester County residents are encouraged to bring unwanted, unused, or expired over-the-counter and prescription medications to several locations throughout the county.
