First Annual International Survivors of Suicide Day Planned For Worcester County
Snow Hill, Md. (October 16, 2013)–Since 1999, those who have lost loved ones to suicide have gathered the weekend before Thanksgiving to find comfort from others who share the same tragedy. On Saturday, November 23 at 12:30 p.m. at the Snow Hill branch of the Worcester County Public Library (307 North Washington Street), the first annual International Survivors of Suicide Day has been scheduled.
SNOW HILL, Md. (October 8, 2013) – The Worcester County Health Department urges all residents age 6 months and older to get vaccinated for the 2013-2014 seasonal flu. Seasonal influenza has officially arrived in Maryland, with the first laboratory-confirmed case identified in a child from the National Capital Region who was briefly hospitalized and is now recovering, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) announced.
